Here are some photos that were sent to me by other Perfecto owners.

Stephen sent me these pictures of a rusty Perfecto he found on ebay.
Serial number = 1266.
↓ This is the initial condition of the shaper, as bought.
↓ Here it is cleaned up.
To remove the rust, the parts were soaked in citric acid for an hour.
The hair band on the clapper box is to ensure the tool repositions at the end of the return.
↓ The motor arrangement is temporary, and works ok.
The machine is being tried out on a test piece.
