Cees recently aquired this machine. It is in need of some TLC, and it needs tooling.

Serial Number = 1352

Notice that the main casting is raised up on 3 spacers. I have seen this modification on quite a few machines and it is done to increase the working height of the machine.

↓ There is a big chunk out of the table. I dread that happening.

↓All the pictures in the Clarkson Operators Handbook show the wheel guard secured to the spindle housing by a bolt in the hole where the grease nipple is in this picture.
I am now wondering whether it is ok to pump grease into the spindle housing, and fill the void around the spindle with grease?
